Lo and behold i think PRS really did thier homework because they sounded like a good A5'er when i swapped them but i soon put the A2's back in because they just sounded better in that guitar. I have them in my santana SE and i thought i wanted a more typical HB tone with the more cutting punchy attack so i changed the magnets to A5. They are A2 and if u r familiar with A2 pickups, the tome is smooth and a bit softer attack. I think they sound good enough that you won't find the guitar lacking to any bothersome degree, but they like any guitar could be better.
